Google has expanded Flow — its AI-powered video maker — beyond paid AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers to include Business, Enterprise, and Education Google Workspace plans. Launched last May, Flow lets users generate short video clips from text prompts or reference images and stitch them together into longer sequences, bringing AI video creation into more workplaces and classrooms.

Flow is powered by Google’s Veo 3.1 video model and produces roughly eight-second clips that can be combined into scenes. The app offers creative controls to tweak lighting, change a virtual “camera” angle, and insert or remove objects from generated scenes. Google also added vertical video support to Flow recently, making it easier to produce social-format clips.

Audio generation was rolled out to more Flow features late last year, enabling AI-created soundtracks, scene transitions, and clip extensions when prompts are based on images or when extending footage. Google has also integrated its Nano Banana Pro image generator into Flow so users can create characters or visual starting points for clips. The update broadens access for Workspace customers to experiment with AI video and audio workflows.
